FINANCIAL STATUS OF THE AUTHORITY

The Income of Kakatiya Urban Development authority Warangal mainly comprises Development Charges, Disposal of lands, building, rents, interest on investments, contractors’ registration fee etc.  No grants are received from the State Government.

  1.  Budget for the year 2013 – 14    Rs.5300.00 lakhs
  2.  Budget for the year 2014 – 15   Rs.5410.00 lakhs 
  3.  Budget for the year 2015  – 16   Rs.8702.81 lakhs
  4.  Budget for the year 2016  – 17   Rs.13419.00 lakhs
  5.  Budget for the year 2017  – 18   Rs.14740.00 lakhs

Ongoing Projects

  1. ‘O’ city (Erstwhile AJ Mill), Warangal to an extent of Ac.117-20 gts under Sites and services programme.
  2. Proposed Town ship at Madipalli village Hasanparthy Mandal to an extent of Ac.300.00. 
  3. Construction of Apartment under PPP near Ambedkar Bhavan, Hanumakonda. 
  4. Formation of 200’ bye pass road from Khammam road to meet Mulug road to a length of 12 KMs.  
  5. Construction of shopping complex  at New Bus-stand, Hanumakonda.
  6. Widening and development in front of the Thousand pillars temple, Hanumakonda.
  7. Development and maintenance of Kakatiya Musical Garden, Warangal.
  8. Development and maintenance of Ekasila Children park, Fort Warangal and expansion of park acquiring the land.
  9. Lakes conservation & Development Bandam tank as recreational zone.

Proposed Projects

  1. Development of Rangaleela Maidan for Dasara Festival.
  2. Construction of Commercial Complex at Hanumakonda.
  3. Development of land at Hunter road under PPP.
  4. Development of land at  Bheemaram village Hasanparthy Mandal.
  5. Truck Terminal at Rangashaipet.
  6. Rope way from Bhadrakali temple to Padmakshi temple.

Government of India Projects

The Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India has sanctioned an amount of Rs.40.54 Crores under HRIDAY Scheme to take up Projects in (5) locations.

  1. Development at Fort Warangal Rs.15.75 Crores.
  2. Development of Dargah at Kazipet Rs. 1.76 Crores.
  3. Development at Padmakshi temple Rs. 2.07 Crores.
  4. Development of Thousand Pillar Temple Rs. 0.94 Crores.

     5. Development of Bhadrakali Tank Rs.14.94 Crores.
